International Children's Digital Library - Free Persian Books for Children!

THIS is great! We just got in "par hasard"!!! Free scanned books authorized by the writers apparently. The "International Children's Digital Library" (ICDL) seems to be a foundation gathering children's books from all around the world and letting people read them online and of course print the pages. The board of the foundation is headed by people from MIT and other Maryland Universities in the US.

It is a bit difficult to get to the persian books from the home page, however, they propose several search engines that work quite well (with some surprises, but the treasure it contains compensates everything.)

Here is a little sample of books, the link might not work in a few months as this is only a results page; we'll try to keep this up-to-date; if we fail to do that, please accept our apologies and refer to the main home page and make your own search.

Have fun!!!

Thanks so much for mentioning us! It's really not that hard to find Persian books.

To search for Persian books, go to our web site (http://www.childrenslibrary.com), click "Read Books" and the search engine comes up. There is a drop down box that lets you choose which language you would like to look for. Choose Persian. The results will show you all of the available Persian books. Today, we have over 400 Persian language books.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
