International Children's Digital Library - Free Persian Books for Children!

THIS is great! We just got in "par hasard"!!! Free scanned books authorized by the writers apparently. The "International Children's Digital Library" (ICDL) seems to be a foundation gathering children's books from all around the world and letting people read them online and of course print the pages. The board of the foundation is headed by people from MIT and other Maryland Universities in the US.

It is a bit difficult to get to the persian books from the home page, however, they propose several search engines that work quite well (with some surprises, but the treasure it contains compensates everything.)

learning Persian - getting started with alefba...

We discovered quite a nice web site with alefba and more (numbers, shapes, colors, etc.) including tutorials (posters and practice sheets to write letters, etc.). Apparently made by Canadian persian people.
